Op een trouwdag gaat natuurlijk veel aandacht uit naar de bruid en haar fantastiche trouwjurk! Dat is heel terecht, maar zelf vind ik het ook altijd heel erg leuk om ook de voorbereidingen en het aankleden van de bruidegom te fotograferen! Vaak zijn zijn ouders of beste vrienden daarbij en dat zijn bijzondere momenten om later terug te zien. Ik probeer een bezoekje aan de bruidegom dan ook altijd te realiseren en maak mijn bruidsparen hier al op attent als ze komen kennismaken, zodat als ze dit een leuk idee vinden daar rekening mee kunnen houden. Het is leuk mannen-details vast te leggen en daar ook een spread in het trouwalbum mee te ontwerpen. En de bruidegommen zijn natuurlijk trots op hun eigen pagina in het album!

On a weddingday al lot of attention goes to the bride and the beautiful dress she wears! Well deserved of course, but I also find it a lot of fun to photograph the preparations and getting dressed moments of the groom! A lot of times his parents or some friends are there and these are special moments to watch again after the wedding. So I always try to visit the groom as well and tell this to my couples already when they come to meet me for the first time, so they can take this into account if they like the idea. It’s fun to capture man-details and design an album spread with these images. And the grooms are of course a little proud to have their own album spread!
