Het leukste aan fotograferen op locatie is dat je nooit weet hoe je foto’s eruit komen te zien en hoe de licht omstandigheden zijn. Je komt op plaatsen waar je anders nooit zou komen! Soms is dat een uitdaging en daarom nooit saai! Fotograferen op locatie is cool, het is fun, kinderen kunnen zichzelf zijn en rondrennen (en ik mag meedoen!) en het levert de mooiste en meest natuurlijke beelden op! Fotografie op locatie is de stijl die bij mij past, lekker buiten zijn en lol hebben! Een studio heb ik eigenlijk nooit gewild, juist omdat je dan in mijn ogen meer gebonden bent, door dezelfde ruimte en het constantere licht. Ik denk dat ik er minder creatief door zou gaan fotograferen. Ik heb het natuurlijk nooit gehad, een eigen studio en weet het dus ook niet zeker. Maar nu diende de perfecte mogelijkheid zich aan, de winkel naast onze voordeur is vrijgekomen! En ik heb er geen moment over getwijfeld eigenlijk J Ondertussen mag ik er wat van mijn fotografie werk (op locatie!) tentoon stellen, zolang als het leeg staat en ik moet zeggen dat dat toch wel heeeeel erg leuk is! Mensen stoppen voor de ramen en kijken naar mijn foto’s! Dus nu heb ik toch heel even een soort van studio!

The best thing about on location photography is that you never know what your photos are going to look like and how the light circumstances are going to be. You will be invited to places where you otherwise wouldn’t have been. Sometimes it’s a challenge and that’s why it’s never boring! On location photography is cool, it’s fun, children are allowed to be just the way they are. They are runnnig around (and I get to join them!) and as a result this will bring the most beautiful and natural looking images! On location photography is the style that fits me best, being outside and having fun! I never really wanted a studio, it would feel more restricted to me because of working in the same space all the time and the constant light. I think it would make me photograph less creative. I never owned a studio, so I don’t really know for sure. But now the perfect opportunity crossed my way, the store right beside our front door became empty last week! And I didn’t really doubt about it J In the meantime I’m allowed to show some of my (on location!) photography work, as long as the store is unoccupied, and I have to admit that this is great fun! People are stopping in front of the windows to watch my images! So I now I do have some sort of studio, at least for a little while!
