It’s already been going on for a while now and still are meetings between wedding photographers and bride couples going on these days!

Why is it important to meet your wedding photographer? And is this important to the wedding photographer or to the couple who is going to marry?
I think both! A lot of wedding photography websites show, besides the photographers style, a good impression of the photographer him/herself. But a real meeting is of course more personal. Beautiful photos are very important, but I think the personality of the photographer has to fit the couple as well. After all, he or she is the person they spend most of their wedding day with!
When you as a bride couple share the same ideas with your photographer on your wedding day, you feel at ease, trust him/her and it’s fun, then you will be able to just be yourself and this will make your wedding photos look great! And of course it works the other way around as well, when a wedding photographer has a great connection with the couple, it will be easier to take these stunning photos!

I think it’s exciting for every wedding photographer to meet new bride couples for the first time! We’ll try to make them feel welcome in our studio or living room, with a cup of coffee or tea and goodies. We talk about the wedding day, the couple’s expectations and the photographers way of working. This way the couple and the photographer get to know each other a little better and will soon enough know if they are a good fit. Wedding albums are also best to see and feel in real life, so we are happy to show them at this first meeting. It’s no problem at all if a couple wants to meet other wedding photographers as well to get a good impression, after all it’s a very important day in their lives! And if everything fits the couple and they want to book the weddingdate, you can be sure we will be superhappy wedding photographers!
