Sending out a birth announcement-card to family and friends whenever a little baby is born, is one of the typical Dutch traditions which I like.
It is much more personal and pretty than a textmessage and it’s very nice to have one of your own birth

Off course I was very pleased when Sylvia and Geert asked me to do a pregnancy shoot and design the birth announcement-card to their little babygirl Eline Esmee!
